SEA Jr - Aquacultural Engineering Services is a non-profit civil association composed exclusively by undergraduate students of the Aquacultural Engineering course from UFRN (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte). It exists legitimately since August 13th 2013.

Embrapa Mid-North, based in Teresina, Piauí, is a decentralized unity of the brazilian Center of Agricultural Research, belonging to the category of Ecoregional Center of Agricultural and Forestry Research, which reports directly to the Center’s President-Director.

The Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is a public higher education brazilian institution. It is the largest university in the state of Santa Catarina and one of the main institutions in the south of Brazil, located in Florianópolis. Since 2019 PRIMAR has an agreement with the Universidade Estadual Paulista participating in the UNESP/CNPq ”ACADEMIC DOCTORATE FOR INNOVATION” Program.

AquaVitae is a research and innovation project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. The consortium consists of 36 partners, from 16 different countries, for 4 years of research with low trophic level aquatic organisms, around the Atlantic Ocean.
PRIMAR is involved in 2 case studies, Native Oyster Reproduction and Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA).

Sebrae/RNAn agency that promotes micro and small companies, SEBRAE's job is to disseminate the entrepreneurial culture, stimulating the competitiveness and sustainability of companies, helping to create favorable environments for the development of small businesses. Since 2013, SEBRAE, through the AquiNordeste Program, has supported the oyster farming production chain. PRIMAR laboratory partner, in supporting the hiring of technical assistance, in the purchase of seeds and juveniles to support the work of the Oyster Farmers Associations of RN.

APROOSTRAS
Association of Oyster Farmers of Lagoa de Guaraíras, which also goes by the name “Oysters of Pipa”, has production of C. gasar in captivity, using advanced techniques, under technical supervision of SEBRAE. Project to generate employment and income, in addition to technical training in sustainable oyster farming, Aproostras is a PRIMAR partner, in the supply of commercial oysters, breeding stock for spawning in the laboratory and in the acquisition of seeds and juveniles, through programs to support the Sebrae/RN.

Producers of oysters and shrimp in RN, with production areas in Caiçara do Norte and Lagoa de Guarairas in Tibau do Sul, has been a PRIMAR partner since 2016, in the commercialization of oysters, in research on the development of C. gasar in an open environment, in partnerships with the acquisition of seeds and juveniles for cultivation, in addition to support with breeding stock, for the spawning of the PRIMAR Hatchery
